A Pharmacist and National Public Health Trainer, Darush Attar-Zadeh has specialised in the field of smoking cessation for over seventeen years and currently runs group sessions in the Chiswick Health Centre in West London.
He designs and delivers bespoke training events for QUIT, the NHS and numerous leading private establishments. He has also been involved in the development and delivery of the NCSCT Behavioural Support Training Programme.
Darush is actively involved in interactive training around motivational interviewing and behaviour change techniques. Some examples of the organisations he has supported include:
Healthy Living Pharmacies, GP practices, Nurses (NHS Health Check service) – very brief advice, smoking cessation, weight management, alcohol
Darush is the Author of the Knowsley Stop Smoking Practitioner Guide, has written many legal protocols and is a regular contributor to various journals, publications and medical media.

Dr Gupta has been Consultant Cardiologist at Whipps Cross and St Bartholomew’s Hospitals, London, UK since 1999.
He completed his undergraduate medical degree at St.George’s Hospital Medical School, London in 1988. His clinical training in Cardiology have included posts at St. Bartholomew’s, King’s College and St. George’s Hospitals, London.
He has been involved in the research area of ‘inflammation and heart disease’ and was awarded a British Heart Foundation (BHF) research fellowship. Author of text-book, over 40 peer-published papers and editorials and several book chapters.

Dr Shakuntala Kalla

Consultant Obstetrician &, Gynaecologist, Wexham Park Hospital
Appointed Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at Wexham Park Hospital in 2002. Her special interests include high risk obstetrics, fetal medicine and ultrasound scanning.
Her training in high risk obstetrics and fetal medicine commenced at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital London/Royal Postgraduate Medical School where she completed the Advanced Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She completed her training in the Oxford Deanery including the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford.
As a Consultant for the last 10 years, she has continued to develop her sub-specialty interest in fetal medicine at King’s College Hospital, London in the internationally renowned Harris Birthright Centre chaired by Professor K Nicolaides. She has developed research collaborations between Wexham Park Hospital and King’s College Hospital, including participation in multi centre trials in pre-term labour.
She has private consulting rooms at Princess Margaret Hospital, Windsor and The Paragon Suite at Wexham Hospital.
Nurse, Midwife, Health Visitor, Counsellor and Health Education Trainer
Jennifer Percival is a Nurse, Midwife, Health Visitor, Counsellor and Health Education Trainer.
She teaches communication and motivational interviewing skills to healthcare professionals across the UK, Europe and New Zealand and has worked closely with the WHO and International Council of Nurses.
From 2001 – 2013 Jennifer represented the Royal College of Nursing (RCN) as their tobacco policy advisor. Jennifer has written many professional articles and booklets for health care professionals. Her book ‘You Can Stop smoking’ published by Virgin has been translated into several languages.
Jennifer is best known for providing motivational master classes to support staff working with people struggling to change their lifestyle. She has been a lead trainer with the NHS Centre for Smoking Cessation and Training (NCSCT) and currently runs courses for the RCN.
Leena Sankla

Director of Public Health & Lifestyle Services
Leena is the co-founder and Director of Public Health & Lifestyle Services at Solutions 4 Health, a pioneering artificial intelligence, digital health and clinical healthcare services company.
She is a board Director providing strategic lead for a large portfolio of public health services, including public health nursing 0-19 (25 SEND), digital health, integrated lifestyle services, smoking cessation, children and adult weight management services (Tier 1, 2 and 3), chronic disease self-management, sexual health, physical activity and falls risk assessment across the UK.
Leena is passionate about making a difference to the health and wellbeing of all sections of society, especially those who are disadvantaged – addressing the considerable challenge of health inequalities.
She is also deeply interested in sustainability, system transformation, meaningful innovation and the impact of digital disruption, particularly using AI.
