Weight Management Programmes Officer

Location: Wiltshire

Job Summary

The Weight Management (WM) Programmes Officer will be responsible for the day to day promotion, operation and co-ordination of weight management programmes in Wiltshire initially. The Weight Management Programmes Officer will be expected to maintain existing partnerships and develop new ones; engage with clients in the community; focus on service delivery and improvement to ensure that projects meet their relevant targets; and support the weight management team with data collection and analysis.

Specialist Public Health Nurse Team Lead (School Nursing)

Location: Slough

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated School Nursing Team Lead to work within the Public Health Nursing 4 Slough Service. The post holder will hold a nursing qualification, and the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification; both of which are essential for the post.

The post holder will lead the school nursing skill mix team and provide line management to generic school nurses. The successful candidate will be required to introduce and support innovative new ways of working, assist in coordinating the School Nursing Team and support them to deliver the Healthy Child Programme. The post holder will also work with other team leads on the integrated 0-19 (25) service.

This is an exciting developmental opportunity for the right candidate with recognised protected time to undertake a leadership role.

Specialist Public Health Nurse (School Nurse)

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated School Nurses (consideration would be given to SCPHN Health Visitors wishing to undertake school nursing competencies) to work within the Public Health Nursing 4 Slough Service. The post holder will hold a nursing qualification, and the Specialist Community Public Health qualification; both of which essential for the post.

The post holder will support the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme to provide both the universal offer and intensive support for those identified as having greater needs. For school aged children and young people, targeted nursing support will be available to support health related concerns.
