3 January 2018

We are pleased to announce that the first baby was born in the Public Health Nursing 4 Slough service on the 1st October 2017, the same day the service launched.

Hina and Faheem are the proud parents of Essa who weighed 5.7lbs. Public Health Nursing 4 Slough are excited that the first baby has been born under the new service and have celebrated by giving the new family a hamper full of gifts.

Hina was delighted with baby Essa’s hamper and stated ‘I was excited to hear Essa was the first baby boy born to the new service. This is something special and this moment will be cherished by the family. Essa’s siblings were so happy to hear he would be famous!’

Slough Borough Council has commissioned Solutions 4 Health to provide a new integrated Public Health Nursing 4 Slough service which will provide integrated 0-19 public health nursing services. The new service aims to give children and young people the best start in life, providing health visiting and school nursing services to residents of Slough.
